Jayson Bradley - Lead Guitars, Vocals

Jayson

Jayson is a rabid and voracious musical savant. To the chagrin of everyone in his life, there is not a moment he isn’t listening to music, reading about music, fantasizing about music, or talking to you about music. He got his first guitar at twelve and spent the first few years pantomiming with it in front of the mirror while spinning Queen records. He joined his first band in high school playing Van Halen riffs with the world’s most fantastic mullet.

Now he spends most of his time performing with his best friends and curating the most amazing Spotify playlists.

  • Birthday: June 9
  • Favorite Beatle: Pete Best (Can you imagine the dizzying regret?!)
  • Who or what inspired you to get into music? My mom. She always had music playing but could never remember more than one line (that she would sing over and over). I was shocked to discover that “Dedicated to the One I Love” had lyrics other than those in the title.
  • Who inspires you now? Committed musicians who are benevolent and enjoyable.
  • Crowning musical moment: I regularly get to play with my oldest daughter and a Madison Square Garden gig couldn’t top that thrill.
  • Most embarrassing musical moment: It’s always humiliating when you keep walking long after you’ve run out of stage.
  • Other thoughts: My musical philosophy can be summarized as follows: “Ego kills talent.”
